WiLAI's Focus
Women in Legal AI (WiLAI) centers our lens on women in four specific groups with the most power to change the gender composition in the room: founders, funders, lawyers, and leaders.
Celebrating the expertise and success of these women will help rewrite (and rewire) the enduring, entrenched gender bias that still limits our presence in legal AI to less than 15% of the positions of power in law firms, law departments, startups, and investment firms.
At WiLAI, we believe that shining the spotlight on the women who have already broken through will raise the visibility and potential for all women interested in the field of legal AI.

WiLAI's 4 Key focus areas:
Founders
Women founders of legal AI companies
Funders
Women investors in legal AI companies and other endeavors founded and led by women
Lawyers
Women chairs of law firm AI practice groups
Leaders
Women lawyer C-suite leaders of corporate legal AI divisions and law firm AI innovation initiatives
There is no existing system or scaffolding in place to support or focus on these women.
WiLAI was formed to address that need.
